Our aims can be summarised as follows

a) To provide opportunities for women and men to work through issues raised by feminism from a Christian perspective;

b) To explore the changing roles, relationships and ministries of women and men in the church;

c) To help bring about wholeness in the lives of women and men and a more biblical partnership within the church, home and society at large;

d) At the heart of MWG is a commitment to:

  • The equality and essential dignity of women and men made to reflect the image of God.
  • The universal effects of human disobedience against God resulting from the Fall.
  • The liberating gospel of Jesus Christ offered to all people.
  • The authority of the Bible as the Word of God.
  • The work of the Holy Spirit in all matters relating to salvation, redemption and our future hope in the anticipations of Christ's return.
